1. What are the main requirements for application to OMSB?

The main requirements for application to OMSB residency training programs are the following:

  1. Approved Application Form
  2. OMSB Declaration Form
  3. Curriculum Vitae (OMSB format)
  4. Personal statements-based on your choices
  5. Photocopy of the Basic Science Certificate & transcript (if obtained)
  6. Photocopy of the MD certificate & transcript
  7. Photocopy of the internship certificate
  8. Photocopy of the ID card & the passport
  9. Three (3) recommendation letters in the field of interest from consultants you worked with
  10. Photocopy of immunization report and screening reports of HBSAg, Anti-HBC, Anti-HBS, Anti-HCV & HIV (should be valid for six months or less)
  11. Photocopy of valid BLS and ACLS certificates
  12. Photocopy of any entry examination, international or other postgraduate examinations (if applicable)
  13. Three (3) passport size photographs with blue background

2. How would I know that my application is complete?

It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks for an admissions decision to be made once you submitted your application.  If you submitted all of your application requirements before the application deadline, you will receive a confirmation through your registered mobile phone and your e-mail within two weeks. All early action applications are given priority in the application review process.

 

3.  For how long the OMSB Entrance Examination (IFOM) is valid?

The Entrance Exam is valid for two continues years only.


4. How would I know about the interviews’ dates and venues?

The interviews dates and venues will be announced in the OMSB website, newspapers and other OMSB social media.

2.  How do I get my IFOM examination scores?

Contact the Examination Department at OMSB and have them send your scores.

 

3.  What are the equivalent examinations to IFOM?

Any other Entry Examination: MCCEE (Canada), AMC (Australia), SMLE (Saudi Arabia), USMLE 2-CK (but it should be valid).
